Obama's inauguration

"That we are in the midst of crisis is now well understood. Our nation is at war, against a far-reaching network of violence and hatred. Our economy is badly weakened, a consequence of greed and irresponsibility on the part of some, but also our collective failure to make hard choices and prepare the nation for a new age. Homes have been lost; jobs shed; businesses shuttered. Our health care is too costly; our schools fail too many; and each day brings further evidence that the ways we use energy strengthen our adversaries and threaten our planet."

The reason why I pick this part of President Obama's inauguration was because it had so much evidence on whats going on right now in the United States, from the war, the economy, health care, schools, and on the type of energy we use. That is why this section caught my eyes because President Obama covered all these major topics in this one section. He also wasn't to specific to get people to understand what he had to say about these topics.

The way Obama's words relate to the everyday life are by what he was saying about change when he was first running for President because he saw how the war was becoming a big issue, and how our economy was going down the drain and how we miss use our energy. That is why in Obama's inauguration speech the section where he hit all the category's of whats happening in our country. All these things Obama said in his inauguration speech I see happen everyday in the United States. Maybe with change we can see a better future in the United States and in our planet.
