First Day at Caltrans

What happened today?????
So today my Dad took me to my internship and I got there in the front and walked into the front building and and had to write my name, time I got to Caltrans and who I was waiting for. So I waited and saw that more kids from the other High Tech schools were arriving. I was waiting for a women name Marlene Davis because she was going to put me and the other boys in training. The funny thing was I guess Marlene was only expecting the other four boys because she was surprised that their was another.So while the others were signing papers, contracts, and oaths I was still waiting for them to create my folder. When they caught me up to track I signed papers, contracts, and state oaths. Then we had to read lots of papers. After we were signing our life away to the government lol!! Marlene then took us to get our badges and I.D.'s because without those theirs no way in the buildings. The funny thing that happened was my picture was taken a few times because I was blinking a few times until finally the got a good shot. After the star shots we were then dropped of with our mentors and the other funny thing was I didn't get one because she wasn't their. Oh yeah her name is Mary Alim and I only spoke to her through emails. But yeah she wasn't their and all her employers were looking for her. I waited for her 3 hours and their was still no sign of Mary. So to of her good friends Laura and Thomas helped me get around and showed me my cubicle and told me "this is all yours, make yourself at home" said Thomas. I then added with thanks but I didn't say "thanks my good mammal" like I usually say to my friends and peers at school. I was getting so bored reading those papers from training that I help Laura Mary's friend with laminating papers. Once that was over with I still didn't meet Mary. Laura and Thomas and the rest of the staff said you should go home because their wasn't much for me to do and they weren't sure what Mary would say about me doing thing that weren't assigned for me. I then used my phone in my cubicle to call my dad to come at pick me up because it was 4:15 and Mary was still not there and her friends had noting else for me to do and they didn't want me to be bored. So that was my day interning at Caltrans.

My dad picked me up at school and took me to Caltrans.

What did you do for lunch???
I didn't have anything for lunch today because of what went up.

How did you get home??
My dad went to pick me up.

How did everything go?
It all went weird because I still haven't meet my mentor and I meet the other people and had to go through training, read lots of packets and sign lots of papers.
