In Washington today Democrats and Republicans were trying to pass a bill which to do with America's energy policy and high gas prices. Both parties want to pass the bill in order to find new Energy and Natural Resources to help power up America. If Democrats pass the bill taxes will be raised up and people will pay more and if the Republicans manage to pass the bill they will use the natural resources here in the US, like offshore drilling in order to get oil for the US. So that we don't have to rely on foreign countries for energy.
